About Me
Tina Taphouse is an Indigenous artist, photographer, designer and presenter living on the unceded and traditional territory of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Semiamhoo and Matsqui First Nations. She is Interior Salish from St'at'imc Territory in British Columbia, Canada.
Her love for photography started in elementary school when she carried various film cameras around. She loves learning new art techniques and genres of art form, from sublimation to wood creations. designing to photography.
Tina is a 60's Scoop survivor, both of her birth parents attended residential school. She has done many presentations to schools, youth organizations, businesses and students.
Tina is passionate about Mother Earth and how we treat her, feels drawn to creating open conversations with our Youth and continuing her designing and art Journey.
