Sasq'ets

Sasq'ets wood bookmark. *** NEW DESIGN ***

Sasquatch is the anglicised version of sasq'ets (sas-kets), which means "hairy man" in Halq'emeylem, the Sts'ailes upriver dialect. 

Each pine bookmark I stained and a leather string and wood beads have been added. Each design is cut onto walnut veneer and glued to the pine bookmark. I also designed and made each bookmark holder. Size of pine bookmark: 4.7" x 1.3"
